I am a massive Harry Potter nerd, and I always have been. I’m a dedicated Hufflepuff, a fact that I like telling everyone. I was lucky enough to go to Universal Studios in Orlando a couple of years ago and literally went to Harry Potter World every single day for 14 days. Every. Single. Day. That’s a lot of Harry Potter. And I loved every moment.

Despite the fact that I’ve been to London countless times in my life, I’d never been to The Warner Bros. Studio Tour – until now!

Last week I spent an AMAZING day exploring the sets where the Harry Potter films were filmed. It was better than I ever imagined – I saw the Great Hall, Dumbledore’s Office, The Ministry of Magic, Hagrid’s Hut, Gringotts, and so much more. There was so much to do and see, and if you love Harry Potter it’s a must do!

What are the best parts?

1. Dumbledore’s Office

This was my absolute favourite part! Within the office you can see the sorting hat, Dumbledore’s memories, the pensieve.

2. The Model of Hogwarts

Right at the end of the tour, there is a scaled down model of Hogwarts and it is incredible. There is so much detail – you really can see everything!

3. The Gryffindor Common Room

I loved seeing the cosiness of the common room – from the fireplace to the blankets everywhere. Here, I also found the knitted jumpers from Mrs Weasley!

4. Gringotts

The bank was absolutely amazing – I wish all banks looked like this!

Treats from the Wizarding World

You might be wondering what there is to eat and drink at the Studio Tour. Well, don’t worry – there’s something for everyone!

The Frog Cafe

At the Frog Cafe, you can buy delicious magic hot chocolates, cakes and ice cream (in black cones resembling witch hats – just sayin’). The hot chocolate was rich and came with plenty of gold glitter and a miniature chocolate frog.

Honeydukes

In the HUGE souvenir shop is a small section that is Honeydukes, the wizarding sweet shop in Hogsmeade. Here, you can buy plenty of sweets from the books – chocolate frogs, fudge flies, Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans, and so much more!

Butterbeer

And, of course, you can’t go to everything Harry Potter related without getting a butterbeer. I’ve heard mixed views about butterbeer but I personally am a fan. The liquid part tastes like a combination between coke and root beer. The cream on top is delightfully sweet. But if this isn’t your thing – don’t worry! They also serve butterbeer ice cream!

I loved my time at The Warner Bros. Studio Tour and hopefully will be back someday! Check out their website to book your Potter Experience.
