As the health and fitness industry continues to grow, protein is becoming more and more of a hot topic. Post-workout protein is a great way to recover quickly, and can accelerate your goals – whether that be to increase your fitness or just remain healthy. You can easily increase your protein intake by eating protein-packed food, including chicken, eggs, yogurts, nuts and seeds, and salmon. There are many other protein sources as well! It’s easy to increase the protein in your diet, even if you’re vegetarian or vegan.

Another popular method to increase dietary protein is the use of protein shakes. These are becoming more and more popular, and there are so many flavours now too! I enjoy protein shakes but I know a lot of people that don’t like them. Thats okay though. There are some new high protein products on the market, making it even easier for you to achieve your goals.

Protein World

Protein World is my favourite place to buy my protein products. Not only do they offer a vast range of products, including high protein baked goods, but they offer their ‘Slender Blend’ range, making it easy to lower your calorie intake*. I am lucky enough to be a Protein World ambassador. For full transparency, I will discuss what this means. Firstly, I get to choose 3 products a month to try on a gifted basis. In return, I use these products to develop recipes and post about them on Instagram and Tiktok. I also have a unique discount code for my followers to get them 30% off (“ALITRIG”). As an affiliate marketer, I get paid 10% of purchases that use this code.

Despite being an affiliate for Protein World, I would like to highlight that I actually do love their products. I used them well before I became an ambassador. So, I thought I’d share with you my favourite Protein World products.

*Remember to always eat enough calories. Food is fuel and your body needs it.

1. Slender Blend Vanilla Frappe

The Slender Blend Vanilla Frappe is one of their newest additions to the Slender Blend line. I am OBSESSED with this. It contains real coffee, is high in protein (of course), and is the most delicious protein powder I’ve ever had. It honestly makes such a great iced coffee – just add ice, your favourite milk (I use oat milk) and 4 scoops of Vanilla Frappe.

Not only this, but it is AMAZING in oatmeal bowls. I add it to my oats and it makes them taste so good. See below for my recipe for Vanilla Frappe Oatmeal.

If I had to recommend only one product from Protein World, it would be this. After a workout, it is the absolute best recovery – protein shake and coffee in one? Yes please!

2. Slender Pancake Mix

I love pancakes! Who doesn’t, right?! The Slender Pancake Mix makes it incredibly quick and easy to make wonderful pancakes that are high in protein. All you need is the pancake mix, milk (or water) and coconut oil! I enjoy these for breakfast at least once a week. My favourite flavour is the Double Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix. I like to top them with fruit, maple syrup and either Lotus Biscoff Spread or White Chocolate Cookies and Cream Spread. Just look how good they look!

3. Slender Muffin Mix

I like to make these every few weeks and use them as a nice snack throughout the following week. They’re also great for breakfast on-the-go, if you’re in a hurry. To make, all you need to do is to combine The Slender Muffin Mix, eggs, water and coconut oil. Whack in the oven and you’re done! I also like to add frozen blueberries.

Blueberry and Banana Muffins

They taste very strongly of banana so if you don’t like banana these are not for you. Luckily, I love banana and these are my favourite snack!

4. Milk Chocolate and Almond Bars

These Milk Chocolate and Almond Protein Bars are another great snack. These don’t require any baking so are great if you really can’t be bothered to make anything in advance! I normally take one to work with me and eat it after lunch, or as an afternoon snack. The texture is slightly fudge-like inside. They also come in a white chocolate flavour, and I’m hoping to try these soon.

5. Strawberry Milkshake Whey Protein

What to say about the Strawberry Milkshake Whey Protein? Well, as a very niche reference that nobody will understand – it reminds me of a strawberry milkshake I used to ask my parents to buy from the local supermarket next to their apartment in Tenerife. That makes little sense, but my point is that it tastes lovely. I like to shake it up with some oat milk and add a bit of ice.

Again, this one is a great addition to oats. I’ve made countless oatmeal bowls with this. Not only does it provide a lovely flavour but makes them a cute pink colour! What’s not to love? I recently perfected my recipe for Strawberry Milkshake baked oats with this, and it’s definitely worth a try! See below for a video tutorial.
